Mexico and mountains make for a memorable month.

First off, I would like to apologize for being such a slacker in terms of keeping this thing updated! But no worries, I'm back!

I am not interested in summarizing all that's happened in the last few weeks, but I will show you little tid-bits through pictures. Yeehaw!
Best friend, lounging, jetskis, fish tacos, Mexico.
More best friends, hiking, delicious espresso & boba, San Diego.
Bro-in-law/the Well, climbing, Camelback & Arcteryx, Mt. Lassen.

Last night I cooked Bobby Fray's delicous Parker House rolls. (Yes, Fray. Refer to Throwdown with Bobby Flay, episode "Pad Thai.") Essentially yeasty clouds of deliciousness. I can never go back to eating Costco dinner rolls for Thanksgiving.

These last few weeks I've been learning a lot about repentance and its importance to my relationship with the Lord. I was definitely guilty of thinking that since God has already forgiven me for all my sins (past, present, future), I don't need to confess them. Lammeee. So not true. Thank God I no longer receive condemnation for my sins-- but my relationship with Christ is going to suffer if I don't admit my sins and give them up to God. Yeah, yeah, seems like a simple concept, right? And it is! But it's something that rocked my world these last few days.

It is such a comfort to know God is faithful in forgiving us of our sins (1 John 1:9). His grace and forgiveness are so overwhelming.... And no one can take them away from me! I memorized Romans 8:37-39 last night. I LOVE how relevant it is in regards to the power and confidence we have in Christ.

...For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor depth, nor height, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39
